Micropiles are the best deep foundation system in challenging karst geology. In Subsurface Building's service area, karst is discovered in the mountains of Virginia and also eastern Tennessee. Because karst includes layers of acid rock and soft soil or gaps, mini piling contractors in north west micropiles can be cased with the soft zones to skilled rock.
